Health & Safety Policy Writing
Writing a Health and Safety policy for your company can be a long and arduous task. A typical Health & Safety policy can be anywhere from 5 to 50 pages long, and contains information and instruction for running every aspect of your business.
A policy cannot be written in ten minutes, it must be very specific to the way your organisation works. It must include a policy statement, sometimes called your general statement of intent, your organisations structure and responsibilities, right from management down to the day to day operations, and your organisation, your policy for dealing with daily tasks like Risk Assessments and COSHH assessments, as well as your training policy.
