Asbestos Awareness

HS Direct run regular asbestos awareness courses through out the UK. We currently run a course once a month in the London area and run courses every week at our new training facility in Sheffield. Asbestos awareness became a legal requirement in January 2009 for all employees who could be exposed to asbestos during their normal working day. This may include building and refurbishment trades, boiler servicing, roofing and many more.

Manual Handling

HS Direct run regular Manual Handling courses through out the UK. We currently run a course once a month in the London area, and run courses every week at our new training facility in Sheffield. Manual handling is a major cause of injury to the UK workforce, accounting for around 38% of all injuries that lead to more than 3 days off work.
