Training Courses at HS Direct Ltd.

HS Direct Ltd provide an array of in-house and online training.

Our training can be completed in our Sheffield based training facilities - with access to on-site parking, canteen, hot and cold drinks and friendly, welcoming staff. We're based 5 minutes away from J34 of the M1, at the rear of Meadowhall Shopping Center.

Alternatively, we also offer our Asbestos Awareness training online, as we understand that not everyone can take a day out of their busy working schedule to come to our in-house courses.

Asbestos Awareness

HS Direct Ltd run an Asbestos Awareness course every Friday at 9am at our excellent training facility in Sheffield. We provide tea, coffee and biscuits in our canteen. The courses last for approximately 3 hours, meaning you can be back on site after lunch. We only use fully employed consultants, have ample parking and our centre is based just off junction 34 of the M1, opposite Meadowhall Shopping Centre.

Manual Handling

HS Direct run regular Manual Handling courses through out the UK. We currently run a course once a month in the London area, and run courses every week at our new training facility in Sheffield. Manual handling is a major cause of injury to the UK workforce, accounting for around 38% of all injuries that lead to more than 3 days off work. This can be both painful for the injured person, and costly to your business. Provide the proper training for your workforce now and reduce the risk of injury.

Working at Height

HS Direct run regular Manual Handling courses through out the UK. We currently run a course once a month in the London area, and run courses every week at our new training facility in Sheffield. Rates of injury at work have reduced substantially over the past decade. There have been falls in both self-reported injury and injuries reported by employers. An estimated 603,000 workers had an accident at work in 2010/11 - 200,000 of these injuries led to over 3 days absence from work and 150,000 to absence over 7 days (LFS) - as a result of poor or no Working at Height training.
