A fantastic networking opportunity with local businesses
We started 12 years ago with just three employees, now we
have a team of 85 who assist organisations across the UK with
their Health & Safety and employment law requirements. Such
is demand for our expertise that we now have 4
We offer an open ended income opportunity so some of our
employees might earn around £60,000 or more next year
which is an incredible wage, added to that every employee
is given BUPA cover. We also know how to put on a very
good Christmas party!
We are very much a customer focused company and
we all look out for each other so we’ll be looking
for individuals who are able to add something to
what we have already and further strengthen our
fantastic team, interested persons can upload
their CV on our website www.hsdirect.co.uk

We have already hired our first new recruit locally. We also
have opportunities for 10 local people in area such as
Admin, Sales, Marketing and Safety consulting.
In addition to looking after its employees HS Direct
regularly gives to charity, having donated thousands
of pounds to good causes. Recent recipients include
Macmillan cancer support, the Cathedral Archer Project
and Diabetes UK and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Expanding into a new area is fantastic news for our
clients. It means we are able to provide a local
service, allowing customers to easily drop into to
our offices to get support with Risk Assessments and
Method Statements, as well as CHAS and HR issues.
The mayor of Stockport will be arriving to cut the
ribbon and we will also have a special guest from
local charity Millie’s Trust.

I don't have Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word, what should I do?
If you don't have Microsoft Office, or Microsoft Word installed on your PC or Mac, don't worry - you can
still use our products. You can get a free alternative from
Open Office Org is open-source developed alternative to Microsoft Office,
developed by a large software company called Oracle. Open Source means the company who build the software,
allow 100% use of it, 100% free.
Since Open Office is specifically developed to be exactly the
same as Microsoft Office, with all the same programs in the suite (Eg: Word, Excel, Access and Power Point)
- it will freely open any Microsoft Office file-format. Meaning, just because a document was written in
Microsoft Word, doesn't mean it can't be opened in another program. Open Office will do that, and vise versa.
On the left hand side, click 'I want to download Open Office'. In the green
box, click the main link which starts with 'Start downloading OpenOffice.org...'
Windows Only:When the program has downloaded, click Install and wait for the program to install.
MAC OSX Only:When the program has downloaded, a notification box will pop up with an arrow from the Open Office
Icon to the Applications Folder in Finder, drag the icon to the Applications folder to install the program.
You are now ready to use Open Office, and the documents you have purchased from us.
