As a Health & Safety Consultant, your primary role is to support HS Direct Ltd clients. This will include providing Health and Safety advice, support, and assisting clients with industry-specific accreditation applications such as CHAS and Construction line Etc.
Working out of our Bury St Edmund's office, providing remote advice to a wide array of clients.
The role will require you to be flexible in your approach to problem-solving, which may be on safety-related or safety management issues, especially identifying customer’s requirements and assisting them to be compliant with health and safety legislation and best practices across a number of industries.
You’ll be visiting client’s premises, carrying out agreed works and subsequently produce reports in accordance with our site visit schedule. Most site visits will involve Staff Training, Audits, gap analysis or system familiarisation.
You’ll be supported by both the HS Direct management team and the consulting team.
We will ensure you receive the appropriate training on our products and procedures and support you in your CPD.

What we’re looking for -
NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent
Willingness to travel nationally
Full UK driving licence
Valid Business car insurance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You’re willing to learn and embrace our style of service

A people person who can adapt their style dependent on who they are talking to

Meaning, just because a document was written in Microsoft Word, doesn't mean it can't be opened in another program. Open Office will do that, and vise versa.
