Smoking at Work Policy

Since 1 July 2007, it has been unlawful to smoke in public or business premises across the UK including offices, factories, warehouses and vehicles.

Employers can be fined up to £2,500 for failing to prevent smoking in the workplace and in order to rely on the available defences of such a charge a smoking at work policy is an essential requirement.
